Rich and Laura's wedding

Tony's last task in Italy before the end of our holidays was to be best man at his friend Rich's wedding. Rich and Laura chose to get married in Tuscany because they had had such a nice holiday there. It is a beautiful part of the world and the food was fantastic. It was a lovely small wedding and I think Rich and Laura really enjoyed it.

Its been a busy summer! We spent some of August in the UK visiting with Tony's family and rushing around Sheffield trying to sort out a wedding venue. Here are some pics of Tony his brother Matt and his sister inlaw Ruth in disguise.

Meet the neighbour

Its funny living in a block of flats you seldom meet your neighbours. Just imagine our surprise when we can home one day to meet this furry fellow who has taken up residence outside our front door. He keeps himself to himself and I keep out of his way!

Hunter Valley March 2009

Here are some pics from last week in the hunter valley with Tony's sister, Felicity and her boyfriend David.

Oh dear! Its been a while since I've put some new pics on. Here are some from the recent trip to Niger. Janet - note the green shirt! It came in very handy, many thanks. The top two are from our field trip out to a village to see the water reservoir. In true style we broke down along the way and the men had to get out and push the mini-bus out of the sand.

Had a lovely last night out for dinner in Sydney before the big trip back to the UK and Canada.  Tony surprised me with a lovely ring!  Its beautiful!
